Voya/Benefit Strategies to Upgrade Online Flexible Spending Account Systems

Voya/Benefit Strategies, the MCPS flexible spending account (FSA) administrator, is in the process of upgrading its online systems. Please review the following timeline:

Mid-September 2023

FSA participants can expect to receive—

• new Mastercard Voya debit cards with ID theft protection (activation required), and
• a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for accessing their Voya accounts
• access to Voya’s new mobile app

Sunday, September 17, 2023 

• Current debit cards will be deactivated at 1:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 17–Tuesday, September 19, 2023

• Systems upgrades begin.
  • FSA participants will experience difficulty logging into the portal during this time and are asked to not make any inquiries until the upgrade is completed.
  • Participants will not be able to use their debit cards or make claims during this time.

Wednesday, September 20, 2023

• All account enhancements will be active.
